I can't wait until I can stop taking BC

After the way I feel today from Aunt Flo , I am starting my countdown to my last Birth Control. I so can't wait. Only 3 more months!!!

Thats what we are doing....I cant wait to get of BC I hate it.

I would love to come off of it...but FH and I are going to wait a year to start trying and until I get into a permanent position rather than contracting work which is what I'm doing right now.

that's what happens to me when I take the generic brand. It's so funny I wanted to save money a couple of months and take the generic one and I told FH when I came home how I save $30 cause I got the generic and FH almost died, he's like it's not worth it, you turn into crazy lady. So no generic for me.

I turned into raving b!tch lady when i first started it. FH was so afraid of me. My face would get all red and i would start yelling at things like traffic lights that took too long to change or people walking behind my car when i was trying to back out.. Or him for no reason.. I stopped taking it when my script ran out.. so far so good.. but i dont plan on starting again.. were just being very careful between now and the wedding. After that whatever happens happens.

I came off of it and I am a crazy person around that time now it is out of control! I kept PMS x 100 I hate it! Dr. said I had to get use to it bc I was on the pill for so long, i feel worse for FH!!

Oh no serous??? Now I'm scared, I too have been on the BC for way to long. How long have you been off? Does it get any better?

Oh boy...I've been on BC for a verry long time....I wonder if I'll feel the same once I come off of it. Even with BC i turn a little nutty around that time of the month.

I'm going for an annual in late July. I'm not asking for anymore RX's. Anyone know how long you are supposed to stay off before trying for babies?

As far as i know you can try on your next normal cycle.. Buuut i dont know all that much..

My Dr. told me a lot of people think you have to wait 6 mnths to a year and that's not true. You should go off the pill..have one normal cycle and start right after that. so, really only 1 or 2 months. That's the BEST time to try.

I was on it for 10 years about and I have been off since April, it has gotten a little better. I am talking like hot flashes and having to pull the car over bc i wanted to run someone over, super irritated! I talked to the doctor and he said we can put you on paxil or it will get better. I am opting for the better!

I know someonw who got pregnant right after coming off the pill....

My PMS was actually under control when I was on BC it kept me sane, regulated my headaches that I use to get before and after my period and now I feel like I am losing my $$hit when right before I get it, that is the only reason I miss taking it but I think eventually my body will get back to normal. Oh and I lost my boobs!!! I was a full size bigger when I was on the pill, not any more! This happened once before too when I stopped and when I started again I got them back...i miss them :)

Meee toooooo!!!!! I will come off and leave the rest up to fate, and the price of my BC just went up...so it will be great to save $60 a month...

My dr told me 3 months. I plan on getting off it after the wedding. Want to get off it now but I am trying to manipulate it for the HM. I am skipping it entirely this month so I feel like crap for 4 weeks instead of 2. YAY!
