I changed my wedding date!

The church called us back and all is a go. We are now 9/6/03...for some totally bizarre reason that I cannot explain, I am actually thrilled with this turn of events. Our original date was 8/9/03. Not only do we have another month to save (and another month for me to get this butt into my dress), but people who could not come before can come now. Plus, I like the fact that all the numbers in 9/6/03 are divisible by 3. Am I nuts?

That is so great for you (too bad we lost you as an Aug bride (he-he 8-29-03) It is so great that ALL of your vendors were available for the change. It must be fate.....

You are not nuts. My family thought I was crazy because I wanted an even year so 2003 was out. The numbers were important to me.

hi, I actually changed my date from 8/29/2003 to as well (to may 2003) and I am too THRILLED with the change (even though in my case it is LESS time!) Some things are just meant to be

As a 'numbers' chick I don't think you're crazy at all! Originally we were supposed to be 3/29, but I didn't like that they were odd numbers so I was MUCH happier with 4/26.

(I'm no spring chicken and FH is 15 yrs older than me, so I really didn't have an extra year to wait for 2004 LOL!!)

Believe it or not, every single one of my vendors was available! John Anhtony's is going to be exactly the same! Same time, same place, same room, same set up, same everything! I couldn't believe it! Ray O'Connor (Photography) was available, Burtons was available, the church and priest were available, the DJ was available, and my entire wedding block at Danford's in cluding my bridal suite and wedding night room, were available! Can you belueve it! I was stunned! I truly think this was meant to be....

just edited to say that i chose my wedding date 10-26-02 because the numbers left me with a good 'feeling' that i just couldn't explain....the next weekend would have been a better deal but i wouldn't budge!!!

i had to change my wedding date - moved it up 6 months for family problem- i planned the entire wedding in 6 months and change the date 2 months 2 go. everything worked out wonderful- the money situation was rough, but i didnt comprimise one thing and i couldnt have been happier with everything.
