THE RECIPE: (includes my adjustments)

This was very tasty w/a side of brocolli

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package angel hair pasta or thin spaghetti
1/2 cup butter
8-10 cloves minced garlic
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 cup white wine, 2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

Directions

1 Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Stir in pasta and return pot to boil. Cook until al dente. Drain well.

2 Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in garlic and shrimp. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 5 minutes.

3 Stir in wine, lemon juice and peppers. Bring to a boil and cook for a bit while stirring constantly until the sauce thickens a bit. Don't let it get TOO thick b/c it will thicken a little more while it cools.

4 Mix shrimp with drained pasta in a serving bowl. Sprinkle with parmesian cheese and parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings
