Today I went for my THIRD hair trial with my Aunt. (she is my normal hair dresser). And, once again, I dont like it. I feel so bad bc she is trying soooo hard, but i just dont feel comfortable in any style so far and I cant tell her I dont like them. I feel like I'm going to be hate my hair on my wedding day......anyone have any ideas for long thick curly hair? I want a classic look without looking too 'bridsey'

Would you have it blown out mb? And have it pulled upp or too the side but loose so it won't be too bridesy? I wish I had pics but that's an option?

Im sorry ... the position you are in *****. Its so hard to be honestly brutal with a family member.. esp when its her line of work!!

Do you want to leave your hair curly? If so, I believe DNicholes is doing the same and has pics of her trials in her album.
If you would consider blowing it out, you can check my makeup and hair trial album for an idea of what I'm doing. ... my hair is naturally curly, but it tends to look messy if I touch it too much or don't use enough product etc. I would NOT leave my hair curly for the big day bc it's just not reliable, lol. So I'm having it washed and blown out (probably doing rollers in the hair dryer then blown out) so that it's nice and soft and straight, and so that on the day of the wedding they can just style it with hot rollers. I wouldn't wash and blow dry the same day because for me, the first day I do it, my hair is super soft and won't hold any style. Also, the cleaner your hair, the harder it is to hold a style. So doing it the day before makes it easier to style.

Two of my good friends recently got married and have long curly (tight curly) hair.....One of them blew it straight and it looked awesome....The other had the front pulled back and clipped with a apretty hair comb in the back of her head--the rest was in big loose curls flowing down her back--she looked beautiful but not too bridesy (like you said) I wish I could post a pic--but she's on her honeymoon and I can't ask her for permission and I don't think she'd like to be posted on the internet

Thanks girls....Today I had it set in curlers and then had her put it to the side and then rest was loose curls. It sounds exactly what i want, but then when she did it, i hated it! I made an appointment with someone else for next saturday...Im hoping if I find a style i like I might be able to show my aunt a picture and make up some story why I had to get my hair done! ugh! I'm so nervous...........
