I couldn't believe this!!!!!!!(a vent)

I work as a singing bartender at a piano bar in the city and was working last night. The mood at my job is normally very happy and everyone has a good time but last night it got ugly. Now while the establishment is not a gay bar we do have a lot of gay patrons and most of my male co-workers are homosexual. well, towards the end of the night there was a group of people there that were calling my co-worker and other patrons the F***** word. I asked them to pay their bill and leave and was verbally attacked. I just keep telling them to get out of the bar and one of them had the ba*** to tell me that it is because of people like us that the WTC was bombed. I was dumbfounded. I can not believe that people out there that are Americans can even say such a thing. I don't understand the ignorance it must require to stand in a room full of people and say such a thing.Sorry just had to vent.

I'd have said something like:
'No A-hole, it's people like me who stand up for the Freedoms of this country that stood for all that the WTC represented!'

If I could speak.. probably would have just called them names and threatened them! heh

Some people seem to have no problem proclaiming their ignorance in publlic. These idiots are perfect examples of that theory! Sorry you had to go through that.

Holy cow I can't believe someone said that to you!!!!! I'm sorry that that happened. That is such a horrible thing to say - you must have been so shocked!

I wonder if it was some people who were at a holiday work party and got drunk and continued the party at your club (or tourists that were drunk). Either way doesn't excuse their behavior. I hope your co-workers weren't too upset either.
