I cried for hours last night.... (long)

I don't know if any of you remember but I had found out that one of my BMs was planning to move to Florida. I found out from my mom (who lives in Fla) and she told me that this BM was planning on moving there July 1st. Now, I knew that my BM was planning to move but she was planning for next year.... she hadn't told me yet that she was planning to move this July. So I sat on this for a week and didn't let on that I knew.

Finally last night she called me really late, and told me she was leaving, not July 1st, but TODAY!!!! I was positively floored. She was trying to get out of saying goodbyes by doing it this way. Me and this girl literally grew up together, in the same house for many years, she is my cousin but more like the little sister I never I had.

I was sick as a dog last night, laying in bed when she called but she was crazy if she thought I was going to let her leave without saying goodbye. So I dragged myself out of bed and went to see her. We just sat there hugging and crying.

She has very good reasons for leaving so suddenly. She even had to leave her two kids behind (both my ring bearers) temporarily. So of course, I am not mad at her. I'm just really sad. She's driving down to Fla as we speak...

Im sorry... I hope that she is able to work her problems out and have eveything be fine again!!! I know you will miss her!

I am so sorry to hear that. One of my bbest friends moved to Fl and i was so upset as well. I still talk to her everyday on the phone. Everything was going great until she told me she couldn't come up for my wedding. Now i am really upset. We are going to go and visit over the summer. Every couple of months we see eachother i guess it's ok...

Good Luck Jimmy's bride...it will all work..out fine. I know the feeling of loosing friends that have to move. I lost 2 friends who moved far away.

you've had a tough time lately with your BMs, Jimmysbride.. my heart goes out to you! I hope everything with your cousin/BM works out for the best (and for you also!) It obviously isn't an easy time for her.

My best friend left NY rather suddenly last year, I only had about 2 weeks notice when she picked up and moved.. and i miss her so much EVERY day. She won't even be AT my wedding, let alone in my WP .. she's pregnant (high risk) and her due date is July 25 , my wedding date! So I know how hard this must feel to you.
