Hi Ladies, I finally decided on my groom's cake!!! I went to Dortoni Bakery today in Levittown & got a quote of approx $250 to serve 30-40pp. Is this a pretty decent price?
that is such a great cake. I dont' know if that is a good price, but I would pay that for a cake that looks that good!

I know dortoni. I actually LOVEEEE them!! THey have amazing pastries. I have such a sweet tooth!!
Well anyway they are alittle pricey I know from personal experience BUT I still would buy the cake, they do a great job and it tastes amzing!!!!!

That cake is amazing!!! I priced a few places for my groomscake. I found Cakes By Mona had the best prices! It tasted great as well. HTH

I would say yess because of the complexity of the work-that totally looks just like a abseball cap and its smooth and the sheen looks like leather. VERY time consuming I would imagine so coming from an artistic perspective, its a fair price.

Well you know I HAVE to love this one...congrats, it's awesome! Wish I could afford a Groom's cake. FH would love it but he'd laugh at the idea of spending that much money on HIS cake!
That hat looks SO real too....man...you're really making me consider this...it would be SO FRIGGIN' COOL!

I got the cake somewhere off this site, but they said they could do it! I bought my FH the same style baseball cap as the one in the cake for his first birthday that we've been together & every year I buy him a new one (same style), so it's perfect! I'm definitely gonna do it!

Very cool cake! The price is a little on the high side -- I got mine from Audreys that feeds the same amount for $180. BUT...if you love it, go for it! Its awesome looking!
