I definitely learned a lesson....

I remember when I first got on here, I thought I was gonna be 'smart' about what and most importantly, WHO I posted about. I told myself I wouldn't vent about anyone.

Well, months go by, and you get s u cked into this crazy LIW world. I said some VERY stupid things about a wonderful friend of mine, regarding the bachelorette party. I assumed the worst and figured she was flaking on me. Very stupidly I posted about it....and she read it.

This stands as a public apology for being a complete idiot.

Ladies, don't be stupid like me. Venting to your fiance or your friends should be enough...when you're upset about someone, don't make it public. And if it's something you can confront them about, do it. Yeah it's fun to share all of our crazy things with each other on here...but there comes a time when you have to cut it off. And sadly, it had to come to this to make me realize it.

I hope she reads this and knows how truly sorry I am. I already spoke to her, but I figured since I bashed her here on this website, I need to take that back somehow. So those of you that read my post, know that this friend of mine was not the person I made her out to be.

Everyone makes mistakes sweetie. I am sure your friend knows what a kind person you are, and that you were just upset.

Thanks girls...I honestly wasn't coming here for your support but I appreciate it. I just had to put this out there because I really don't know what else to do.

i am glad you posted this - it's a great reminder of what is truly important, and sometimes - as good as venting makes us feel - being the bigger person is the way to go! i commend you for having the courage to post this!!!

That is an awesome post.

We all get heated and do things without thinking, but not everyone takes the time or has the courage so say 'yeah, I screwed up and I'm really sorry'

I'm sure your friends understands and is very appreciative of your apology

Tara, I think it's very nice of you to post about this - we're all entitled to vent though. Sometimes it's easier to post/vent online because it's virtually a whole world of strangers, but unfortunately for every person that posts and we 'talk' to on the boards, there are numerous people that just lurk and read everything. I'm sorry your friend read your post - I really did just take it as venting on your part.

my photographer read that I was nervous about using them- being that they arent really mentioned here on LIWeddings- and he called me!!!!

he wanted to reassure me, which i thought was incredibly nice, but I was so embarassed!!!!

You can definitely get ****** in! So many times I've wanted to vent or to tell people I totally understand what they are going through and tell them some of my stories, but it's a small world and you never know who is reading your posts or who knows who! But you def did the right thing by apologizing!!!!!
