I Did A DIY Hankercheif! (w/pics)

I had seen a hankie that I liked that has swarovski crystals on it of a new last name initial and I decided to attempt another DIY project- I found a nice lavender hankie in the local dollar store (pack of 3- lavender, light green and light blue for only $1!) and went to another local store that sells the crystals.. spent about $5 on the crystals and I sat last night and put it together- I think it looks decent.

Here are some pics that I had to take with my cell phone camera- the lavender is not the way it looks in the pics but I'm happy with the results.

Thank you ladies- the pics are all the same hankie- I just saved myself like $20-$30 doing it myself- FH saw it today and was impressed too.. he thought I went and bought it!

Seriously if your hankie was brown like the other one, you would think it was the same one in all 4 shots. It is dead on!

Yes I didn't have my regular digital camera - FH was still sleeping while I took the pics today,

The lavender color is so nice - when I go home I'll try to take more (and better) picutres later.

In case anyone wants to know how I did it here it goes:

I printed out the letter as big as I wanted it ( I actually did 3 sizes to see what would work best).

Then I traced it by placing the printout under the hankie also making sure that I had a white paper (so the glue doesn't stick to the table) underneath as well.

Then with a pencil I lightly traced the letter.. then did a bit of glue at a time and using tweezers I placed each crystal on the glue...I didn't use any special glue just white craft glue so it dries clear.
Then I added in the four accent crystals (2 purple and 2 pink) at the end after it all dried.
