brazilian wax!!!Yes ladies, I got the courage and went to Bliss in Soho this morning. It was not bad at all!! I thought the pain was going to be soooooo much worse! !!!(and I am a big baby when it comes to pain!) Honestly though the pain lasted for a second. Anyone who is thinking about it should def. give it a try. I was a little bit nervous about the pain but it was totally worth it!

Ok, now I think every place might be different, but at my place I lay on my back, no underwear at all, and just sread your leg a little. When she waxes far down (if you know what I mean) she makes me lift my leg a little. I was really really nervous, then once it was done I felt so stupid for making such a big deal about it. Now I go like it's nothing.

How long does it last? And does it get uncomfortable when it's growing in....you know, like itchy???
And how do I ask this..... Let's see..... How long does it have to grow back in before you can get the next one done. Does there have to be a lot of 'stubble' first??

I went to the one on Broadway between Prince and Houston Streets. I have an appt. to go back in about a month....I am not sure about re-growth considering this is the first time I did this.
Edited to add: The whole thing took about 20 minutes.

I go to Dorothy at Bliss in Soho and I love her. I never went on all fours!! You just move your leg. I haven't gotten done in awhile b/c of some irritation from ingrowns and I can't wait to go again. I never thought I would say that! Ladies, make sure you use Tend Skin to prevent ingrowns.

Isn't it great? The pain is not at all what you would think. Your FH must be SOOOOO happy!!
Starhead that is strange you got in growns. I have done it 2x and I haven't had any. I know shaving always gave me ingrowns. Do you use an exfoliator? That really helps. This may be too much TMI, but wash in circular motions. It lifts the dry skin off.

I had mine done about 6 weeks ago and it is still not all grown in, but then again I am not very hairy. I was thinking about making an appointment to go back today, but I will see.
I can't explain to you how NOT itchy it is. When I used to shave it was so itchy. With waxing it comes back in finer, softer, and NO itch!
