I did it...made an appointment to get WAXED!

I'm soo nervous. My wedding is October 4th (yup 23 days left) and I just made an appointment to get waxed for the honeymoon. I getting bikini & full leg wax. I haven't decided if I can go through with getting a brazilian. Anyone have suggestions on what I can do to make it less painful. This is my fist time & i'm sooooooooo nervous!

I heard it's totally worth it because the hair won't grow back for a month maybe more. I won't have to worry about shaving in Hawaii!!

Take two Tylenol an hour before you go!

It is so worth it....you wont want to go back to shaving.

I second the taking 2 advil before you go. If anything it will act like a placebo effect and make you think it is working... But seriously, it helps, and the pain is short lived. Yes it stings, but it hurts to be beautiful. Shaving is for wimps!..lol. You will never want to shave again.

I've gone once - defintely take 2 advil 20 minutes before - the bikini wasnt that bad at all. The only part that stug a big was the lower front part of the leg. You can do it !!

I did the Brazilian 4 days before my wedding and I took 3 Advils right before I left home. The woman who waxes my eyebrows suggests that you take 2 Advils about 45 minutes before the appointment. It was painful, but the pain went away quickly. I would do it again. I think I was more embarassed than pained.
