I did something very stupid and now I am stuck with another gown!!!

I was very depressed over the weekend and I wasn't sure if I liked my gown.So I went one eBay and just started bidding on a few things just because I was boed and stupid...

So today I went to the boutique and tried on my gown. The picture did not do it justice. Seeing it on me made me feel 100% better and I was happy again. Well I won ne of the autions and now I am stuck with ANOTHER gown! I mean, it'll have cost me less than $100 total, but I am so upset!

If anyone on here likes it, please feel to FM me. It's strapless with a corset in the back. WHite , 2 piece and brand new. It's a size 10-12...

I am such an idiot.

You should post the auction so we can see the dress. Did someone else bid on it? Maybe you can talk to the seller. If the second person pays what they bid and you can make up the difference the seller won't be out anything.

I have never sold anything on eBay before! Let me try and contact the seller...maybe they can ship directly to my winner?

I agree - step one, talk to the seller, if that doesn't work - try to resell it on ebay.

What you might do is make an offer to the seller to pay the difference between your bid and the next highest bidder.

I just contacted teh seller and I am hoping they will do it for me. I am going to try the next highest bidder now... I am such an idiot. I was just so sad ver my gown. BUt after I saw it, I realized that it's just a really ugly dress unless it's on a person. It's a light silver, not a dark silver. It looked so dark and dreary in the photo's I had taken...

Thanks Jamie! BUt I have to keep seeing it in person, otherwise I lose interest. I bought it May 2002 and I keep forgetting how pretty it is in real life.

I hope teh otehr bidder takes it. I will check my email and let you know...
