I didn't realize at my wedding (thank god), but my dress wasn't altered that great. All of the pics of me from the back show that the middle of my dress around the waste is lumpy. It looks like the area between my waste and chest on the sides was not even taken in properly. ***. It's really annoying me now because I did a photo shop of what it should look like and would have made my waste look much better if it was altered properly.

I have a huge pleat in the center of my top; it's okay...I posted about this once on Newlyweds; if you do a search, there are tons of replies to it!
No one noticed or anything, but now that I look at the pics, I get so annoyed. I keep looking for the lumpiness in all the pics. I'm self conscious as it is and I feel like the lumpy one makes me look fatter than I am.
Lana: I just read your post. Ok, now I am thankful I did not notice it at all at the wedding. The day of I was in love with the dress and thought it could do no wrong.

I am sorry they did not alter the dress properly, but I am glad you did not realize it the day of your wedding. You would have been upset that day and this way you enjoyed everything on your wedding day and did not sweat the small stuff! BTW, the back of your dress looks so pretty in both pictures. It looked like a beautiful dress, and I am sure no one noticed the LITTLE lump.

tell your photographer to edited it out of the pics like you did in photoshop! I am sure they will do that for you in some pictures!

Yea, luckily no one noticed anything at the wedding. That's why when I got the pics back I couldn't believe it. I will probably just not use pics of myself directly from the back. I'm just not going to ever go back to this alterations place. And, um, they were a place that everyone warned me about on this site, but I used them anyway. Ooops, oh well. If I need to alter any pics, I definitely will.
