I didn't think it was possible

for any bride 2B on Long Island to not know about LIW!

a mom and her engaged daughter were sitting next to my mom at a restaurant this afternoon and chatting about her upcoming wedding in August. she was complaining about all the prices she is paying (like $200 for a VEIL! ) and how she still needs limos but doesn’t know where to go etc etc

So my mom couldn't resist, right before she got up to pay her check she told them that her daughter is engaged and has gotten excellent ideas and advice from LIW and that she should look into it to. The Bride 2B said 'wow, I never heard of that site'.

I think I found this site accidently. Probably on the knot or something. It has helped so much.

I actually found someone's wedding review post when I did a google search for my venue. It was pretty random, and I wonder if I would have found it otherwise...

I first found LIW when I was doing a Google search on halls. I took a look at the vendors but never the chat... until a friend of mine recommended that I join... that's when my addiction started!

i told a girl about the site while looking at invites in a store. She was getting married in September and had never heard of the site before either.

I also found it by accident. I was a hardcore knottie then someone mentioned LIW's chat...and the addiction took over my life!

i also found this site by accident, but that was about a year and a half ago!! now anytime i meet someone who is getting married, or a mother of someone who is getting married etc. i ALWAYS write this site down for them!! i have NO IDEA what i wouldve done without it!

I actually know a lot of LI brides who never used LIW, even after I told them about it!

Me too... I remember logging onto the knot and reading where brides were complaining about LIW... Something about the brides over here were 'mean to each other' & complaining about the brides over at the knot. They basically lost me, because I started checking things out over here and got addicted! I love LIW!

I never heard of LIW until I went to a bridal expo at Giorgios...the woman there told me all about it and I came home and registered. Its been an addiction ever since!

Same here! I actually don't remember how I found LIW but now I can't imagine life without it. I can't wait to tell my friends about it when they start planning.
