but I think I will have to take out a loan to pay off the wedding. Everything just keeps adding up. Can anyone recommend me a good place ( Bank ) to apply for a personal loan?

I would recommend a credit union over a bank.

I know that a credit union has better deals but I am not a member of one. Do you know how I can become one?

if you are a student you can join teachers's federal credit union. You can probably pay off your loan with the money you get from the wedding.

I understand what you're going through. The money just keeps piling up. We went through the same thing, and rather than getting a loan we started downgrading on our packages, and cut our costs by about $8,000.
Instead of three limos, we got one big limo. Instead of getting the higher package w/the DJ, we went with the basic package. We cut the cigar-roller, we cut down on the Honeymoon, guestlist, and a few other things.
I know it's overwhelming, but try going that route before going for a loan.

You can try Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union. You do not have to be a member. You can FM me if you want more info.

You may qualify for those 0% credit cards. You may want look into that first. Personal loans have high interest rates. I'm guessing that you will probably pay it all off after the wedding with the gifts.
