You don't need a ring bearer if you don't want one. You could designate a bridesmaid to give you his ring and he can get your ring from his best man/groomsman.
But adoption is an option too.

Normally the Best Man carries the ring. Even with a RB I wouldn't trust a little kid with the rings.

We don't have one either, the best man will be carrying the rings (the MOH won't have pockets).

We didn't have a RB either, our best man held both rings. It's perfectly fine!!

I would trust a CHILD more than my FFIL (who is my FH's best man) to hold the rings!! Awww.. I love my FFIL but he calls us EVERYDAY to tell us about somethign he's lost..... Soooo FH will hold them until the ceremony starts and then he'll hand them over to the best man.

we have two ring bearers and neither of them is carrying real rings...the best man will be holding the rings...the ring bearers carry fake ones..so don't feel bad that you don't have one

I believe the RB is just a tradition at this point. We aren't having one b/c my FH's brother and SIL didn't seem too keen on the idea so we opted to not hadve a RB or a FG. Hopefully the Best Man won't screw up his duty!!

I'm having a bunch of flower girls (just cuz they look so cute!) And I will have one of them follow after with a special basket with the pillow in there. It's your day - you can do what ever you want!

That is what I am doing! I am having my fh's 1/2 sister carry a basket with the rings and she is going to stand on his side and her 'title' is 'The Best Little Lady'!

I did not have one. The best man held the rings...I thought that was usually the case anyway and that the ring bearer holds fakes
