I just had to retake my pic for my work ID- they needed to take it 4 times before they got one that was usable. Everyone else- 'snap, ok thank you'. Me- nope lets do it again. 4 TIMES! If I cant take usable ID phots what am I going to do for my wedding pics!

don't worry, your photographer will take WAAAAY more than 4 pictures anyhow you'll be happy that day anyhow so i'm sure they'll all be great!

Here's a tip.. if they count 1, 2, 3 blink on 2 and don't smile until 2.

When its contrived it always seems awkward ... On your wedding day you wont stop TRULY smiling.. dont worry .. you will be beautiful!!!

I COMPLETELY understand. Honestly, I always blink and look like I have a lazy eye. Also, sometimes I look like I'm growling. It's not cute. CHeck out my m/u trial album to get an idea. Poor Oksana had to take about 20 pictures to get 2 good ones. I have no advice, just understand your pain.
ETA: here's a pic of what I call the double lazy eye.
hahhaha awww i am like that! My damn eyes are always shut. This is something I am nervous about. I am sooo not photogenetic. ughhh Thomas Paul better help me. LOL
I'm curious to see how our engagement pictures will turn out. lol my eyes are gonna be closed in all of them (or FH). He has a similar problem. I feel your pain!

i hear ya. whenever i smile for pics from now on i think 'kool ade smile' and i plaster that big orange peel smile on. as fake as i feel, it usually doesnt look fake lol

I have this too and you can see it in some of my pics. They can fix that in PS too...
But my advice..close your eyes before they snap and open them. When you smile press your tounge on roof of mouth.

don't get me wrong there's a time and place for posed pictures but the BEST pix of your day will be the candid pictures.
