Today I babysat for my friend Denise's 8 month old, and Patrick's cousin's 2 kids who are 9 and 10, and I am SO exhausted I could CRY!!!
All three kids were wonderfully well behaved, and I really did have a great time, but all of the TLC and attention giving sapped my energy.

its much different when its your own. Nothing will bother you to help your precious little one - even getting up 4x a night to help them - you'll see

I have to say John Anthony is a blessing, he really is not a cryer or a whiner. but it IS getting REALLY tiring now that he's cruising and trying to walk all day. So my EYES are on him 24-7.

Remember your body and your energy are not your own now so you'll have more energy when your not growing a baby but....it's definitely exhausting at times. You'll be great and you'll have your own routines and rhythym.

Jenn- I don't think it is anything we can ever be fully prepared for. My mom had 3 children in 5 years and I am sure she was tired a lot. And while you might not mind doing things for your child I am still sure you get tired and need breaks now and then.
