We are finally going to Hawaii in 14 days. We have to literally plan the wedding in 2 days. We are visiting 3 places. I really don't know how to do this and I am kinda stressing out Any suggestions on questions to ask or ways to deal with this I would really appreciate it. I don't know what to expect Thanks

If the places you are looking at have experience with destination weddings you'll have no problem. My friend planned her whole wedding in 3 hours bc the hotel personnel are so used to this they knew exactly what to do. Don't worry...they do this more than you think! Good luck and have fun!

Everything will be fine - once you see the first place you'll be more comfortable.

Take it for what it is Michelle. You have 2 days...look at the places and make your best judgement call. Taste the food if possible...take a good look at the location...and make your decision. Don't stress...it is what it is...and it will be wonderful.

you will be fine..i was in NY for 4 days and had to plan pretty much my entire wedding..i thought i would be able to go there before one more time..but with this move..i dont think so..
ill be there again 3 days before the wedding

I know i should not stress out, things are a lot less crazy in Hawaii. Many places will not let us book more than a year in advance. We are just a little worried that something will be wrong with all three places. Unfortunately the two places in Waikiki may be too expensive. What kind of questions should we ask at our first visit?

Well I guess I should give you girls some more background. FH is Hawaiian his mom, dad sister and a lot of family live there. This is not a typical destination wedding. We have been bugging many of the resorts since we got engaged but things are not done the way they are done in LI. I am very nervous and anxious about this trip b/c I am only have a few days to get everything done. AFter that point I have to leave things to FMIL and other members of FH's family. We are choosing between the Hilton Hawaiian Village and Moana Surfrider in Waikiki and the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu.
Can u girls give me some direction for questions? Thanks
we are going b/c FH's little sister is grad. from HS. Its a big thing there. We were planning on going in Aug. to book the wedding and decided to save money and just go now and get it done. I hope it works out, I'll let you girls know
the good thing is his family is there.. so you can always have someeont there book stuff with you after you think about the places you ahve seen and such
