I don't know where to go on my honeymoon

I am getting married in October and I want warm weather but not hot. I want to go on a tour or something but I have no idea where do go. I went to a travel agency and they were not helpful at all, I searched the web and still have no idea. I feel like I am running out of time to book someplace nice, please help. Please give me some ideas.....TIA

I was thinking Greece and turkey but a friend of mine said if I do a cruise/tour it will be very boring and a lot of older people.

We were thinking a cruise b/c mostly everything is included and we were looking at packages that were ranging from 2500. -3100. pp.

We thought about doing a cruise as well but were turned off by the geriatric factor Maybe you could look into the Paul Gaugin which is a smaller cruise ship (about 350-400 passengers) that sails around Tahiti. There's probably a lot more honeymooners on that ship than old people. We wanted to do that but some company had chartered the entire boat for the times we wanted. Good luck!

We went to Aruba. It hardly rains there so your chances of great weather are good! We had the greatest time there!

Bear in mind that October is still hurricane season. With that said, I'm sure there are some cruises that have a younger crowd, I went on one to Mexico two years ago with FI and there was a good mix of ages. A travel agent might be able to steer you away from ones filled with a geriatric crowd. Perhaps visit a different agent than you went to. Good luck!

have you considered a cruise. They are cheap that time of year. And you could leave from NY.

since october is still considered hurricane season in the caribbean, I would probably look at Hawaii, Tahiti or Fiji...

Yes we would like to go on a cruise but don't know which one. I have been looking online to get an idea and still am clueless. Do you know of any good websites?

I too, loved Aruba. It is outside the hurricane belt and it was beautiful.

I would love to go to Aruba but my FH does not want to go there. He says he wants to tour or something. I would have booked my beach honeymoon already he is the one that is prolonging it.

My 27 year old cousin did a Carribean crusie with a friend last fall and she loved it. They stopped at a bunch of islands, including Aruba, and got to see different places, when they went ashore. Would something like that work?

Try Royal Carribean They have a cruise going to Bermuda (which is not in the carribean)This was my first cruise it was Wonderful PINK sand beaches...We rented mopads and had a great time.

I will ask him tonight and talk it over the weeknd, i really would like to book our HM by mid March b/c it is starting to stress me out.

We're getting married the week after you and are going to the Carribean. We were originally going to Jumby Bay in Antigua, which is very expensive, but are going to do something more reasonable now. We are seriously considering a Southern Carribean cruise as I have been told October should be the end of hurricane season.

I was going to say Aruba, or a southern caribbean cruise. You can also consider maybe doing a Mediterranean cruise? My FH and I really want to do this eventually...but wanted the tropical thing for our honeymoon. You and your FH might love the culture, action, and tour-sense to this. I saw someone suggested Cap Juluca - one of the priciest places in the caribbean i think, and very remote (not the action you're looking for probably) - absolutely gorgeous if you can afford it. good luck!!
