I think about this almost every minute of every day.

IF I could be selective about it, most definitely...but alas I don't think you can...

so no, I'd have to say no...

but will say, I wish I didn't have to.....but some things...tattoo themselves on your brain

'Get it right
There's no blood thicker than ink
Hear what I say
Nothing's simple as you think

Wake up
Some things you can't get around '

I feel you baby...

After I saw the movie, I imagined having it done. To erase 9 years of the experiences that we'd/I'd had, 9 years of decisions based in part because of this other pesron, 9 years of changes that I'd experienced because someone somewhat influenced it, whether he was actually around or not.

To lose the everything bad - I would have to lose some good. And there wasn't a lot, but it was enough. And even worse - I imagined coming out of it and not recogizing who I'd grown into after all of those years. But you get that - I don't need to tell you.

I hated earning those 'war wounds' - the ones that are tattooed on your brain (I like that) - now the scabs have fallen off and they're deep scars. But I can handle it. Now, at least.

Um, I might erase this later.

I would. In a heartbeat. I think certain experiences have created most of the negative/self doubt and deprecation in me. Would love to not have that.

I've done things I'm ashamed of, but as long as I'm smart enough to be regretful of having done them, it's more of an assurance that I won't repeat them.

All our experiences, whether we regret them or not, form who we are. It's futile to strive for perfection. We are all flawed beings, and it's what makes each of us unique and beautiful and interesting.

I wouldn't change a thing.

No ways. Everything I have done, every choice I made, led me here, now. And I'm happy. So I wouldn't want to risk it.
Plus i have no regrets. Except my recent weight gain.

To me, that movie emphasized that our mistakes, our internal scars are necessary to be the person we are today. I was a DUMB 18YO and made stupid mistakes that lead me to be who I am today. I still have flaws, I still have scars and I still make mistakes. But hopefully I won't make those mistakes again and I will be able to recognize the destructive people that are approaching my life before they become a PART of my life.

I don't regret anything I have done...and it has been hard work becoming the person that I am. I could have gone in a very different direction. at almost all times, I think very highly of the person that I am....it may not be to everyone's liking or taste, but I am who I am...and I am truly a good person.

my eraser would not be for things that I have done, but for things that were done that I had no control over...and that have effected me and the way I view myself and my life...deeply and profoundly.

I guess it is excessively personal...especially for the internet...but I feel comfortable (probably at my own peril) enough to at least express this much.

sometimes you get stuck in a moment (I really MUST stop quoting Bono)...I am right now...

I understand getting in a rut I used to think I wanted that eraser, for the same reason you said - things that have been done to me. My shame was because I allowed it to happen, and to continue. That was my action. Or non-action, as it were. I was just reminded of this, not one week ago on Christmas Eve. And I realized that I no longer wanted the eraser, because I felt like I accompished something by being able to let it go. That's why it's so funny you brought this up, I was just thinking about it.

Have you seen that Stuck in a Moment video? It's so sad to me. Like Kat said, I hope the moment is short.
