i don't really like my wedding band-sort of long
So after my thought, i had decided to have a custom wedding band made so it matched my e-ring. So the guy i decided to use made the mold and it looked fine (its hard to see the fine detail). So i go last week to pick it up, and i try it on and I am not impressed. I figured it was the light in the jewelers shop and thats why it looked different. So i pay the $$$, go in my car, take it out try it on again and my heart sinks. In my opinion it does not match the fine detail on my ring. its the same style (three stones and then stones in the band-it matches my side stones on my e-ring) but the detail isn't the same. plus in my opinion it looks big and flashy (i know most girls would love to have alot of diamonds in their bands-but i feel like it may over power my beautiful e-ring), plus the bands in the wedding band are different sizes and shapes from the ones in my e-ring, and there are these little notched sticking out of the wedding band so it 'fits'right into my e-ring. So i cant wear it alone b/c these things protrude from it!!!. So i go back in the shop and very nicely point out all my concerns . well the wife of the owner and guy who did my ring, was not happy and got snappy, saying its a perfect match, blah blah blah and it cant be made different, b/c i'll ruin the ring. so another women their told me to take it home show my fiancee, see what he says, blah blah. So i show him and he likes it (i guess he likes the look of all the diamonds)and tells me, we can always have it re-set after the wedding since they did atleast use very nice diamonds in it. so everyday i take it out and try it on to see if my mind is changed, and deep down i dont like it. i am so upset b/c i cant return and i am scared to have them redue it b/c i know they wont be happy and may do a half-assed job. so now i dont know what to do. Do i bring it to someone else and have them re-do it and spend more $$$? did/does anyone else ever had this problem?
