I don't think we are going to make our minimum

We invited 226 and we are getting more and more nos everyday...I know its out of my control but it still makes me very upset.....I only think we are going to have about 140 at this point

ETA...minimum is 165

I don't think we are going to make ours either!!! I just called the Hall and they said I could include my vendors in the 120.

I would wait and see what happens!!!

You are still going to get responses even 2 weeks after your RSVP date. Don't count anyone out yet!!!

And even if you don't make your minimum, worst case scenario, you can ask your hall to throw in something extra!!

i'm not meeting my minimum either and it makes happy and sad at the same time. happy because i'm off by about 15 people and i talked to JT and they said i could 'work something out' with adding things on. but sad also because i really wanted to share the day with as many of our loved ones as possible.

i'm still waiting on 6 people to rsvp, but at this point i'm like ' you couldn't send in the rsvp or even be courteous enough to call!?!?!?!? then no food for you!!!'

Kathleen, don't stress it just yet. We're WAY below our minimum, which is 175. We only have 129 yes's incl vendors. Our response date was almost 1 week ago, and we still have 71 people (36 'couples') to respond. I stressed slightly, but you just need to realize, this is one thing we have ZERO control over. Things happen. One couple we were SURE was coming said no, b/c they booked a cruise, forgetting about the wedding. Like others have said, when ti gets closer and you're still below, talk to you hall about upgrades.

When I went for my semi-final appt 5 weeks before the wedding, they told me to discuss my below-minimum issues w/ my maitre'd when it was closer to the date.

I am definately having a B-list because I keep seeing all these posts about not making the minimum It looks like you have a little ways to go though so I wouldn't stress until you get closer.

we missed our min by 10 (even though 10 did not show up so it was realy 20 but we paid for the other 10) anyway let the hall know asap and maybe they will work with you

I wouldn't worry just yet. Some people are just really really bad (& lazy) with these things. I just dont understand why people cant just fill out the card & drop it in the mailbox. BRAIN SURGERY!!!

Like others said.. If you dont meet your min.. you can upgrade ona few things or invite a few girls from LIW

We were 25 under our minimum. Ask the hall what you can do. We negotiated with ours.

Well a few people have told my FI and my that they are coming...I guess I shouldn't have even bothered to send out invitations...we could have just called people...it just annoys me that people are just waiting until the last minute and then not even bothering to send the response
