I don't vent that often but I NEED TO VENT about BM issue....
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo my BMs, I love them all dearly but I asked the ones that live in MD about 2 months ago to please call Aria and make an appointment to try on the dresses in the DC showroom. So they decided to make a group trip out of it (ok, great!) HOWEVER I've had to ask them numerous times 'did you call', 'did you all pick a date', 'do you want me to call' etc..etc...and I've been BEYOND nice about it. So I was talking to one of them this morning and she said one of the other BMs was suppose to call on Friday but never did so that was her priority today, but then realizes Aria in DC is only open on Thurs.,Friday,Sat,Sunday.....so I said what weekend can you all do it....so she says 'this weekend and then NOVEMBER' ***!!!! I'm annoyed and trying not to vent to them, they've had TWO MONTHS NOW...TWO MONTHS! My girls in NY are all done and ready to go! I would've just done the try-on program with them but they were like no no no save yourself the money, we'll go to the showroom. The dresses take 6 months to come in (or so they say) which means that ummmm NOVEMBER is 7 months until my wedding.....suppose something is wrong with the dresses....suppose I can't get the dresses to them in time (they are shipping to NY first b/c it's cheaper & I want to make sure they're all OK) I'm having a panic attack and a bridezilla moment all at once!

Tell them If they want to be apart of your day then this is what they need to get done.

wow, that is a pain. I think you just need to get in touch with each of them and find a weekend or a thursday when they can get out there, see which day they can all go (or most of them) and set it up for them. I think that sometimes we need to just do things ourselves to get them done....

I had a very similar problem that I went through in August. I have 8 girls total...5 in NY 2 in NC and 1 in Oregon. So I set a date for my girls in NY to go down and look at the dress and get measured..everything went fine. I found a place in NC for my two girlfriends to go and get measured see the dress etc.. they called me back that day with the measurements.. no problem...Everything was set.. My sister in Oregon.. waits till the very last weekend (the dresses needed to be ordered by Aug. 31) finally gets measured I call in the measurements and the lady says she needs between a size 18-20. This makes my sister so mad .. that she is convinced they are wrong.. refuses to pay for the dress, wants a size 12!!! and won't order it until Nov.. After many panic attacks, and fights I just gave up and decided if she wants to be in my wedding she will figure out what she wants to do...As it stands now she is supposedly ordering her dress in Oregon and waiting until she feels she loses enough weight to get the size she wants.. My wedding is a little over four months away and I could careless at this point.. I don't know why people have to be so difficult on your day...It just doesn't make sense to me...I would never be like that for my sister's or any friends weddings!! AHHHHHH

Vent away. They probably don't realize how important this is because you are being so calm about it.

OK, well I decided to just do the Try-on Program with them instead of them going to the showrrom (which is what I should've done from the start) and I'm sending the dresses next week to one of my friends houses in MD, they have a week to at some point try it on.
I don't want to be a b****h but it's scary when you order dresses online and not at an actual store (yes, I know what they look like) but suppose I put the wrong style # down or the wrong color or something scary! When I'm the one placing the order it's a little bit scary (not that I mind b/c I love the dresses) but god forbid something goes wrong,I want enough time to be able to fix it.
Thank you all for lettting me vent! I don't want to stress them out either b/c angry bridesmaids is not a nice thing either.
