But... since ive been registered to this site, I have been getting phone calls left and right with someone saying 'congratulations you were entered in a drawing, and you won a 3 day 2 night trip to mexico, and or florida, etc.. All you have to do is come pick up your vouchers and browse our showcase and there is no obligation to book anything' Yeah, right.
Ive recieved literally about, 5 phone calls in the past two weeks with someone telling me that.... Has it happened to you? If so, what is the deal with that? How annoying!! and how do people find your phone number, my number is NOT Listed when i registered for this site! :(

Did you go to any bridal expos? I never got the calls from signing up from here, but since I went to an expo last week my phone has been ringing off the hook. Good thing I screen my calls.

Yea They are from the Expos not this site. This site only sends email and mail until you set your settings to not receive any of those. But I have been getting the same calls since registering for an Expo that I didn't even attend.

its the expos. from this site i only get e-mails & regular mail. i don't really mind the regular mail because my mom just shreds everything. the e-mails i opt out of.
however the phone calls drive me crazy. i always list my cell # so i was getting calls during work & class like crazy. so, i just let the voice mail pick up. then on sunday morning i would call the # back & say i already booked whatever they where trying to sell me & tell them to remove my name.

I haven't gotten any phone calls, and haven't been to any expo's. So...I would tend to think it's the expo's...

You get it alot from the expo's, davids bridal and some from this site...Just give it time and the calls will stop. I used to just answer the phone, let them talk, start 'sobbing' and say the wedding got cancelled...That stopped the calls real quick

I know this is going to sound bad, but when you fill out cards or something and they insist on a phone number, I usually give them my old phone number. Just so I can avoid those annoying phone calls.

from going to expo's and from the site, i received countless calls. so on this site i changed the phone number to all 6's and at expo's i don't give my number unless i actually want to deal with that vendor

this happened to me and they got my number from a bridal expo that i went to....the first couple times they called i told them i didnt want it and to get my number off very politely and then they kept calling and i told them that if they called me one more time i was going to call the cops and put a harrassment complaint in and they stopped!

I get these stupid calls all the time. Once you go to a bridal expo and your name and number gets out there; you suddenly win a million trips where you need to attend a presentation in order to get your free trip. I just ignore the calls, I get them every week; they just don't give up.

the funniest thing is i registered for that NY Bridal Expo but never won....i get calls saying that i won for attending...
i say, really, i never went! then the person on the other end goes 'oh....' and hangs up.
ITS GREAT! tell them you never went and see what they say. LOL

I had a few phone calls as well I won a trip and a kicthen appliance RIGHT And they are very annoying.
But they are from bridal expos. I hate those calls I just tell them wrong number

yeah!!! and they make it seem like i tried to reach them and they're just calling back --no thanx !! i guess they take our info from the RH! + i get so many emails and stuff sent to my house!
