where is everyone? I have nothing interesting to report. I am wearing sweatpants. Well, capri sweatpants. But they are big, and I look sloppy. And I love it.
I have to clean the bathroom tonight. Does anyone have any good shower mold remidies? It's really just gross- keeps coming back.
I have a situation with a toenail- it broke- BAD. Likethe top right quarter- half way down the nail- totally broken, but hanging on. I think the nailpolish had been holding it together- but last night it snagged the sheet, and I screamed. Is there anything that can be done? It is still flip flop weather- I can not be nailless. Horrible. If I go to a nail salon, can they wrap it, or gel it? Or is that just an invitation for infection? My friend Cara uses press on toe nails- they actually look amazing, but the thought disturbs me. Plus I would have to do all 10... or 9, since my nasty pinky hammer toes are useless.

Cut the nail. It needs to be done. An infection will look worse, don't risk it.
K and I swear by Tilex for bathroom nastiness. But it does have strong fumes so be careful in your current situation.

I use Soft Scrub with Bleach on my tiles and tub. It is fairly awesome. For some reason my upstairs bathroom gets really gross.. even though the downstairs sees more action.
it is a puzzle.

Didn't know you were pregnant!!! Somehow I found out about your toe nail before I found out about that! So, Congrats!!!!! And go see a podiatrist. I have never gone and not felt a million times better for whatever little toe thing I was going for. They medicate it, numb it, etc. Then let it heal and get your pedi. It ***** to wait that out but I think you have to. I don't trust the nail salon if I have anything that is open to infection.
For bathroom--spray some bleach and let it sit then hose it off or reapply and scrub it. If you let it sit, it does the work on its own to some extent.

update: I did the Clorox pen thing- it was a relative success, still with lots of scrubbing, and the mold is still there, but more grey than black. Thanks Kerie for the congrats. Next try will be spraying straigh bleach, too.
Most importantly- I cut the nail, it looks gross. I will wait a day, then remove my poilsh, then hit it with some anit bacterial jazz.

Not too much planned- Victor had mentioned inviting his friends over for BBQ, but they usually require advanced notice, and I don't think he has called them yet. I will call you either way- we can roast smores.

The Apple Festival is next week at the Islip Grange.
They have haybales. And scarcrows and sh*t.
ETA: I realize my spelling mistake.. but scarcrows sounds way cooler than scarecrows. And - oddly enough - scarier.
