Sorry, just had to vent. everyone says this should be fun, and ultimately it is, but the budget crap is a SERIOUS downer!!!

yea.. Im here going through post feeling the same way.. trying to stay on Budget & do things right.. sux.. so many bills.. mortgage, car notes, etc... then with this wedding... my gosh..

I hate them as well, I also hate people telling me that it is a recession and I need to be careful about how much we spend on the wedding. A wedding is a BIG deal. I am only doing it once so I want to make it as perfect as I can. I HATE budgets. I going to try to stick to mine but I'm not making any promises...lol

Ditto!!

Its very stressful, especially given where we live!

I had been to a wedding in the Chicago suburbs that was GORGEOUS, and the food was amazing, amazing band, and they paid $40pp!!!!!
