Yesterday I sent FH an email with the china I liked and today he sent one back with the ones he liked.. of course mine wasn't on there... so I reply to him:
'No offense… but I am the one who is going to cook for holidays and I am the one who is going to be doing most of the hosting… therefore I am going to pick out the china that I LIKE.. YOU ARE A GUY… you shouldn’t care what it looks like.. you should only care if there is food on it.'
Who am I??
Part of me is sitting here laughing my evil laugh knowing that I have a point.. He is a man who should not care about china...
the other part of me is shaking in the corner scared and alone wondering when I turned into a bridezilla and who else I may have recently attacked in my black out rage that has become wedding planning.
I guess in the end its kind of cute that he cares about the china...
KIND OF.. considering he has bad taste.

If it makes you feel any better, I fought with FH about drapes vs. vertical blinds for weeks before finally telling him that I COULD NOT and WOULD NOT live in a house with vertical blinds, that he should not care about window treatments and that this was, in fact, a deal breaker!
Needless, to say, we have drapes...
Luckily we agreed on the china, or it would have been another fiasco.

dont worry hunny when we registered he picked out what he liked I was like eww its disgusting, then I got even more mad b/c the woman was inlove with him and was like ohh thats an excellend choice chris im like mm noooo. Luckily we picked one we bothe loved hahhahahha boys

FH and I were the same way... we fought about china forever!
Until finally I was like, 'Guess what, I didn't even want to register for china in the first place, so now I get to pick it!'

Fh scanned for like 20 minutes and said 'thats all we need, this is what I want.' -- I said 'great honey'.... When I went home I deleted all his crap. and even went to a diff. store to register. The hell with what he thinks. If he had it his way we would have registered for a cheap foreman grill and the most hideous plates i have ever seen!!! It looked like it belonged in a baby nursery!

Oh THANK GOD. I was afraid I was the only one. The ONLY big wedding related fight we've had happened when we started registering.
it got ugly...but we made up. And the registry....chock full of things I love. He's a 'guy's guy' and has no business choosing housewares or furniture.

I just got back from our 'I am getting the china I want' lunch. It wen't well. He gave in thus adding more power to my new Bridezilla status. I did tell him he could keep the 'Shamwow' that he just HAD to have on the registry...and he could register for as many beer mugs that It would take to make him happy.
I think we have reached an agreement. I will secretly remove the 15 different sets of beer mugs online when he is not around.

You're not that bad - when we were at Fortunoffs last week registering, FH picked out some ugly ugly ugly towels - I told him that he could get them for HIS shower!
Then when we printed out the registry, I saw that he had scanned a $500 (yes $500) blender and a $300 toaster oven! We need a new toaster oven, but we do not need a new blender! I went online when we got home and removed the items. He'll never know - he'll just go on thinking no one bought them for us.....
