theres no reason to make a person feel bad about how much they post and that youve been here shorter but have more posts. maybe you didnt mean it like that but thats how it came across to me.

I guess it is like a new job! In the beginning, you are the newbie and once people get to know you, I am guessing you will make friends!

I feel the same way but I guess the longer you have been on here, the more people you speak to on the boards and stuff!!

Thanks Lorin and Hairett you girls made me feel better!!! I work soo much doing hair that my schedule doesnt let me go on the comp! But i feel so lost when all the girls get BOTW and they know eachother it feels like im the new girl in school or something lol, well thanks again girlies

Plus I've been on the board for what feels like forever, when i started posting there were only 9 other 2010 brides, so just post away and sooner or later you will feel like you know everyone without meeting anyone

lol well i cant even go to the bridal shower cause its already booked up!!!

i have been on the site since March of 2008. i have never met anyone because i can never make the g2gs. i am also from brooklyn (as someone else said) & i am not using any LI vendors so i don't have that in common with many others.

the best thing to do is post, you tend to find a something in common with others when you post.

i feel the same way but i post whenever i can but im sure the more you post the more people get to know you.

Well I met you in passing as well. I also met Lsorrent at the gym and I know Laulac98 thru mutual friends. Other than that I am excited to meet everyone at the bridal shower.

don't feel discouraged

I am friends with girls on this board, but only because we became friends through the site, we met at G2G's and then we started to hang out together, we weren't friends before that

I totally agree!! It's hard being the newbie! I'm relatively new to posting... I just broke the 100 post mark a couple days ago.

I was reading this website ever day and finally decided to register and post. I found so many ideas for my wedding!! I love this website Everyone is so friendly and helpfull. I am from Queens but it does not matter that I am not from LI. What it matters that we are all BRIDES that are getting married in 2010... Hi I am Aggie and I feel like I became a LIW addict over night

Dont feel discouraged! Remember, some of us have been on this site for a LONG time. I registered a year and a half ago. Back then there were only a few brides- so we got to know each other much better.

Also t he G2Gs helped bring us together. Now I hang out with a few girls almost every week.

Just keep postin...and when we have G2Gs- come! Its a great way to meet girls!

Awww dont feel bad, i know how you feel though, but we are still alil new, alot of the girls on here have been very helpful since ive joined. I Felt alil left out when i saw a post about the bridal shower everyone is goin to, wish i could attend, hopefully next time
