My eyes are doing all sorts of weird stuff. In my peripheral vision, I am seeing like little heat waves ... does that make sense? It's like a kalediscope effect. This means I will be getting a headache in like an hour.

Thankfully they are never too bad - they aren't severe migraines, usually ... just bad eye stuff and a headache ...

I feel ya..I get migraines and they are the worst! I have medication from my doctor to take at the onset of a migraine..that's how bad I get them : ( I had to leave work two weeks ago from an insane migraine......lay down for the rest of the night if you can, keep the lights out and just relax. Feel better.

Im sorry!! I hate migraines!! I take Tylenol Gel Caps an curl up in fetal postion and just keep my eyes closed...its also better when you can snuggle up nect to the FH!

I thankfully have never experienced a migraine and I cannot imagine the pain you ladies must be in when you get one.

oh i certainly do .. the amazing thing is within an hour its gone ! i just hate cos your totally out of comission. My FH says oh you got a headache... no my dear there is difference between a 'headache' and a migraine..

I get those lines and I get spots in my eye and I know whats coming. What is also weird my left hand goes numb a little. Doesn't last long but is def. uncomfortable. I take Advil Cold and Sinus as soon as I get the symptoms and it goes away. If I don't take something as soon as they start I get a migraine so bad that I can't have any light or movement and the medicine won't work if I wait. I can get sick also sometimes if I take it too late. Its not fun.

I don't get visual cues...but i'll feel the entire left side of my neck and shoulders start to stiffen up. And then I know i have about a 1/2 hour window to swallow down some pills FAST.

I totally knwo what you mean, i usually get a halo in one eye and my jaw will get tight that is how i know a migraine is coming on, but there is also such a thing as an eye migraine! Joy.....

Thats what I do - I knock myself out and then wake up feeling fresh!
