I feel bad. . .long vent
FHs Aunt, Uncle and cousin decided yesterday (less than a week before the wedding) that they are coming (they never RSVP'd, but said they wouldnt be able to make it when we called) and that they want it to be a surprise...
The guest list for this wedding has been the bane of my existence and has caused sooo much tension between me and FH And me and my parents (my parents are paying but FH and his family seemed to think they could invite everyone they ever met and then some AND continue to add people...and then most either RSVP's weeks late OR never RSVP'd at all
)
My mother was upset with the number of people they invited because his family never offered to contribute anything...although his mom did agree to do the rehearsal dinner when asked but will only pay for the bridal party- so we are responsible for covering anyone else.
Anyway, when I got this news this morning, I kind of freaked....I was already feeling anxiety because the wedding is 5 days away and I have alot to do and I get really nervous about change and big events...I haven't been sleeping well...and well, I lost it.
I wasn't going to tell FH, I was just going to handle it myself, but he called and I burst out in tears and told him I can't take his family anymore! They seem to think this is a backyard party and anyone can come and go as they please!!! So, I ruined the surprise and told him they can't come
Then I spoke to my dad who said that its not worth making waves over and to just add them. . .
So, now they are coming, and its no longer a surprise for FH...
Now that I think about it, I really don't feel bad.
