I would give lots of hugs and just say that you know she is hurting, but that logically, it is so much better for this to have happened as opposed to having her enter a doomed marriage and get divorced later.

oh noooo!!!! was it a mutual decision at all??? the only thing you can really do is just re-assure her that you are here for her..and that she will have grace & strength to press forward to a wonderful future, even if it seems impossible now. prayers, support, & hugs sending her way these things always happen for a reason..and i'm sure fate is just having it's way.

OY - is October a cursed month ? I know of two weddings that have been cancelled. Now I read this.
Just tell her your sorry to hear this. Let her decide if she wants to talk about it or not. She has to start a healing process.

The only thing you can do is be there for her-when she is ready she will talk but def let her know you are there for her
