i'm jewish and i participated!!!!! my fiance's israeli...he's like....WHY do you want an ornament??? i told him we have to get a hanukkah bush this year so we can have somewhere to put it!!!
do you want to do a hanukkiah swap, between us??

What about if you participate and make sure it's not religious and sit it on a coffee table or something. So nothing round! That could be cute!

Regy... Growing up I felt the same way. All my friends did this amazing decorating and we had a menorah. So my mom came up with an idea. She put silver and blue garland rapped around the banister and we decorated them with family special ornaments. For example we have in memory for my grandparents, an Italy ornament to commemorate my parents trip there, an engagement ring with our date on it, etc.. When FH and I moved in together we did this. For the ornament swap I got a beautiful snowman ornament it was perfect. Just an idea. I have pictures if you want to see them
