When I left my old job almost a year ago, everyone chipped in and got me a gift certificate to a spa. I was so busy that I never got a chance to use it, but now that the e-party is coming up, I figured it would be the perfect time to use it. I went today for a facial (I've never gotten one before) and it was amazing! For one hour, you get pampered, massaged, and beautified. Next week, I'm going for a spa pedicure - I can only imagine what that will be like! I definitely want to go back before the wedding!

I don't mind at all!
I went to Gerard's Spa (it's right on the border of Bellmore and Wantagh on Merrick Road). The signature facial is $75 and the spa pedicure is $35.
The people were also really nice and not snotty or anything, so that was definitely a plus!

We're having a pretty big e-party next Saturday, so I wanted to get the facial today just in case I broke out or anything. The night before the party I'm going to get the pedicure. I have to go to another place for my nails because the spa only does natural nails.

aw thats sooo cool! My fh got me a spa package one year that included an hour massage, facial, foot massage and hand reflexology!! loved every minute of it!

Sounds great, glad you got to pamper yourself. How is the e-party planning coming along...I am about to rip my hair out lol

SPA'S ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FH and I went to Spa Sun in the city and had a couples massage. They even had showers in the room to shower afterwards lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was great!
