I feel like crying...

SO after all of my hard work, my mom calls me today to say that she received my invitation (which I only mailed out yesterday btw), but I forgot to include the self-addressed return envelope!!!! I wanted to kill myself. So my FH & I ran to Michael's got little cards & envelopes. I printed a note on the cards saying:
'Oops! In our rush to invite you to our day
we forgot to include this along the way!'

and included the self-addressed envelope. I was able to hand write out everyone's address nicely before 4pm today so they went out right away. I hope they arrive only a day after the invitation, but I'm so upset! It figures that's what I get for rushing through it until the wee hours of the morning! I can't believe it!

its not like people even know how to use the return self address stamped envelope anyways! even when it is included

but that little poem is cute!!!
i think people will get a kick out of it, and think its funny that you forgot to include it

I love that little saying and you did a great job of salvaging it! Don't worry, we all make mistakes...maybe put a message on your wedding website if you have one and send emails as a follow up just in case to let ppl know.

That's what my FH keeps saying. He says we'll look back on this and laugh...I hope so, lol.

Don't sweat it, you caught your mistake and fixed it and that's what matters!!! This will be funny to you in no time I'm sure.

I think that poem is adorable!! I didn't even realize it until someone told my mom that about 20 of my response cards did not have stamps!!! She didn't tell me until it was too late for me to do anything. I still feel so bad though. Everything will be perfect with yours.

I think you did a great job of thinking fast on your feet, and fixing a minor problem. Good thinking. I am sure it will not be a big deal at all.
