I feel like I am wishing my wedding away

I feel like I am wishing my wedding away

I have one more week until my wedding and I am in complete stress out mode. I feel like I am going to freakin lose my mind. Part of me can't wait for it to be over, but I don't want to wish my wedding away. Sometimes I don't even want to talk about my wedding b/c I start feeling stressed. This should be a happy time for me. Then I start getting bitchy at my FH and I completely vent to him. I feel like the list of things to do just keep getting longer and longer. Every time I turn around there is another thing to put on the list of things to do. And believe me girls, there is a list. I feel like I have used up a lot of post it notes with these lists.

This wedding has been emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially draining on my parents and that really bothers me. How do I thank my parents for everything they have done for me.

I have been so busy with student teaching, finishing my masters, graduating, job searching, and wedding planning. I haven't been on LIW for months. I am really going to need this honeymoom.

Sorry to vent ladies, but I know if there is anyone who understands me it is you girls. I feel better already.

I think you need to take a drive somewhere and just sit and think about the fact that you are going to walk down the asile and MARRY the love of your life. All the people you love will be there around you and no matter what it will be beautiful.

I have to do this once in a while to relax myself and it always gives me a big cheese grin on my face and a better outlook.

We both got to the point where we just wanted to get it over with. Once the planning is done, it's really just waiting, which stinks. It sounds bad, but it's okay!

Re: I feel like I am wishing my wedding away

With my wedding a week away, I know how you feel. I am excited about my wedding and want it to be an AMAZING Day!
But, with that said, I can't wait until it's over!
It's like I just want my life back. It feels like all I do is wedding stuff.
So, I really know where you are coming from. When, I start to feel overwhelmed, I take a step back and breathe. It will be here and over before you know it. Try to enjoy the last week.
Good Luck Weekend Twin!!

Sit back and take a deep breath. Just try to always keep in your maind that this is a HAPPY day and you DONT wanna ruin it by feeling stressed leading up to it. Not to mention, it can also make you get sick and then yuoll really be mad.

S L O W down and calm down. If there are thinsg that dont NEED to get done, then dont do them

Re: I feel like I am wishing my wedding away

I was the same way before my wedding....i wish i could take back the stress but i think there was nothing i could do to control it...and i was soo stressed that i didnt even enjoy one second of my day...the best part was when it was over...

i look back and i feel terrible that my day went that way- all because if my own stress

all i can say is that i really hope that you try to relax on the day- and try to enjoy it
whats done is done, and you cant change anything- so try to just make a list of what is needed and definitely delegate things to other people that you can trust

try to hang in there!!!!!!
the good news is that your marriage will start off really well because you will be stress free!!!!
