I'm in here doing billing on the computer for my Uncle's company and my mom yells from the other room 'I found your bridesmaid dresses!' I'm like ummm okay?
She comes running in with a magazine and shows me this gorgeous dress ...I'm like 'that's really pretty but where did the magazine come from? Have you been going through my mail again?'
and she just BUSTS out laughing... w t f?
She was like I got bored sitting in traffic over by the mall so I went into David's Bridal.
omg sometimes I'd like to kill her (MY WEDDING! Not yours!), but frankly she was so excited about the dress that I'm more amused than anything.

awww I think that's really cute that she's so excited about your wedding that she'd go by herself to find BM dresses for you!

It is cute. She is excited about helping you plan. I'm sure if you said I don't like that dress she would be fine and just continue looking. hahah My mom loves to search and look even if the final decision is not hers.

My mom does the same thing!!
She'll say to me, 'Oh, I found your wedding colors, or I found YOUR wedding dress!!'
Uh, it's my wedding, not yours!
I got mad at first, then I realized she's only trying to help, so I just sit there and nod

lol that sounds eerily like my mom. We got engaged while on vacation and when we landed and my parents picked us up she told me what color her dress was going to be for the wedding day, when our e-party was and that she was goign to order monogrammed napkins for it but she didn't know what he wedding date was. I really need to get her to realize.. not her wedding!
She has calmed down once I started makign decisions without her, but she is still a little OVERLY excited! Jsut make sure she knows that its your wedding and not hers. Ask her opinions about things, but dont give her total control! :) Good luck!
