I've been laid up in bed for the past few days b/c of some weird shoulder/neck/arm pain
So Dad took me to the ER yesterday to get checked out. The doc (who I think did a rush job on me) said that it's a cervical spine sprain (top of the spine, not by the goodies lol) and possibly a pinched nerve.
BUT
...while I was in the ER, i got a phone message. I hobbled outside like Quasimodo to check it AND.....
....my dress is in!!
Its a whole 2 months early. The projected delivery date was the end of January. So yesterday not only did I score some GREAT meds but I got some good news. My sis and I are going to RK to have me try it on tomorrow after I have training for work in the city. Promise I'll try to post some better pics than the cell phone one I had last time.
Sorry so long but I'M soooo excited!

Oh - i'm so sorry!!!!!!!!
Do what you can to relax....use warm compresses in addition to the meds! I had a piched nerve for months that wound up requiring surgery - so take care of yourself!!!!!!

Thanks chicas for your well wishes. I'm taking this time as God giving me a break b/c work has been absolutely BANANAS!
It was awesome to get that news b/c I was definitely in a 'Woe is me' kinda state when I was in the ER ( i never see a Dr. for minor pain, guess its the old dancer in me...we suck it up)

aren't they though? I've had chronic lower back pain since I can remember (I think it's cuz of the 'twins' lol) and now its at the top...ugh. Don't worry i'm going to see that sucker tomorrow hell or high water.

Thanks bunches Bonnie! Sick stinks but its better than chasing lunatics around NYC all day..lol. The ER people must've thought I was fronting b/c after I got the news I was smiling from ear to ear. They were probably like 'How can a girl who said she's 7 on the scale of pain look so happy?' hahahaha
