My grandmother passed away while we were on our Honeymoon. My parents opted not to tell me until we came home. We had the wake the very next day after our honeymoon. She was in a nursing home for nearly 10 years. We drove past the cemetary the other night after grabbing diner. I waived at the cemetry and said 'wave to grandpa' and DH said isn't Grandma there too...and I got sad b/c I sorta forgot for a moment that she was gone !

i'm so sorry!!!! i think if i was in your parents siutation, i would have told you when you got back too. at least your grandparents are together again

I'm sorry... honestly... I wouldn't have told you either until after you came back. You were on your honeymoond. But.. It HAS to to difficult just experiencing one of the happiest days of your life and then just coming back to such news.
There are just no words for it..

So sorry for your loss...your fam probably just wanted you to enjoy yourselves as there really wasn't anything you could do anyway. Dont feel stupid! The loss is so new it probably hasn't sunken in yet!
