I feel so achey in my back

All week I've been feeling achey all in my back from my neck all the way down to my lower back.

I hate it - everything I do I feel it sleeping, sitting and standing.

Can anyone recommend something I could take, to make this feeling will go away?

TIA

I dont know what you can do for it! but did you lift something that made your back feel that way? I fell at work and my back has been feeling like that myself i just take a hot shower and it makes it feel better. you can try that if you want , try taking a hot shower. feel better.

I take Aleve for pain...It helps, and lasts a long time (12 hours I think...)

Thanks yeah I've tried that but it only temporally. I think I have 1 symptom of the flu.

My whole office is sick and one of the girls is out with the flu and these other attorneys have been coughing and sneezing all over the place.

I pray I don't get the flu.

Did you try stretching it out?

I get that with my . too, and those heat wraps things help--they are like sticky heating pads you put on your back all day...

Try a sleep number bed from Select Comfort. My friend is a contruction worker, went thru 3 beds in 5 years until he got this bed. We got it too and we love it.

Therma care makes excellent heat wraps that you stick on to the spot that hurts and leave it on for 8 hours. I usually put it on at night...

Ok. I am going to describe these stretches as best as I can..bear with me and if you have any questions, feel free to fm me..

Sit down with your legs out, flat on the ground, and reach your hands to your feet..that's a good one for your lower back..

Or..sit down on your bootie and bend your knees up w/ your feet flat on the ground..twist your waist to the left and press your right elbow against your knees..(you can repeat this on your other side) Does that make sense? It's kind of hard to describe. That's another lower back one..

This other one that's really good is a yoga move and it's great for your back..I think it's called the child pose...your on the ground and hug your knees and stretch your arms out on the floor..it's so hard to describe..that one is good for your entire back..

Good luck!!

Be careful you aren't actually sick and are running a fever.

I am just getting over a nasty cold and fever (flu-like symptons). I was out sick from work yesterday and the day before.

I am in work today... but I am still not 100%. Ever get that feeling that your there... but you really 'aren't there'. Thats the way I feel today... totally useless.
