FH and his friends were on there way to Ocean City today for his 4 day bachelor party when his hotel called him and told him everyone is being evacuated and that they wont allow him into the hotel. It was supposed to be 14 guys having a huge party and it's cancelled because of this stupid hurricane. He sounded so upset on the phone I felt so terrible! They just stopped in AC for a few hours of gambling and then he's coming home tonight! I feel bad! Maybe I'll wait for him naked in bed and see if it cheers him up

oh no, that totally sucks!!!!!!!!!! hopegully eveybody can make it next time.
waiting for him..naked will def make him feel better, maybe with a pearl necklace and a glass of wine

that stinks!!!!! FH is still trying to see what will happen in AC for sat. Im sure he will enjoy coming home though!!!!

why don't they just stay in AC for a few days? I just changed my reservations from Saturday to tomorrow in AC and we saved $600 by rebooking because they are desperate because everyone is cancelling. I also have 15 people going so it better be nice weather tomorrow (which it should be)

That's what I told him but I think everyone wants to be close to home just in case damage is done.....we live on the water and we just did a huge renovation on our house so he kind of wants to be home too. He told me they are thinking of taking the boat to fire island early tomorrow morning, spending the night and coming home first thing on saturday before the rain comes....not a terrible plan as long as the weather is as nice as they say it will be tomorrow.....pretty nervous about him being on a boat with a hurricane following right behind him. He makes me a nervous wreck.

Im sure I would have seen him because my bach was supposed to be there this weekend :( Im majorly upset because it was gonna work out for all the people I wanted to be there.
My FH's bach was also cancelled as it was planned for this weekend also.
Im trying to stay positive but it just SUX!!!!!!!!!
