I have my venue and my dress and that's it! I work til 7 most of the time and at least two weekends a month so its near impossible to meet with vendors I feel like :( anyone else having a similar dilemma?? Since my time is limited I need photo/video/flower suggestions since I wont have much time to shop around. Good quality and budget friendly please :)

You have a lot of time still, you're only about 10 months away and you have the two most time consuming done. Budget friendly quality suggestions - Fade to Black for photo/video and Hidden Essence for florist. Good luck and have fun with it :)

You can definitely get everything done without meeting with a single vendor. FH and I are living in Virginia right now and I have done nearly everything via email. The message boards are a great starting point for vendor suggestions. I would gather a few vendors you like and send out emails for packages/price ranges. You don't have to go to a million vendor meetings, I was able to get a good vibe from their websites and email/phone communications. Good luck!

You have plenty of time. Don't stress. Some vendors are able to do a phone conference as well as email.
I wouldn't stress, you have plenty of time. A lot of us on here have been engaged a lot longer, which would make you feel 'behind', but you're not! There are couples that plan a whole wedding in 6 months or less! My suggestions-Lighthouse for photo & Wick's in Baldwin for flowers

You have more than enough time. We had 10 months to plan everything once we booked the hall. We did photo/ video and I did most research on the web, only met with 3 companies and only the people in Nassau ( we didn't want to spent 2 hours just driving to meet with potential vendors). DJ's have clips on their site or youtube. My wedding in in a little over 5 months and going to start on flowers, limos n invitations in the new year. FH works nights so going with my mom n sister and just bringing him for final decisions.

Ken hild is an awesome photographer that can work with a budget!!!!! :) for video i'm thinking of going with JL productions he has an awesome package and so willing to work in your budget!!!
cannot give you any help with flowers,... we aren't having them!! :)

im using Thomas Paul for photo/video-- he is great def check him out!
using b*urtons for flowers (minus the *).. they are very reasonably priced

Try to get video and photo sooner than other things. You can get BM dresses and flowers later...videographers and photographers tend to book fast!
