I feel so honored ...

I was catching up with a close friend last night over the phone, and I just feel so honored after our conversation that I wanted to share it with you ladies ...

We have been friends since we were about 16 ... thats almost 13 years now. Over the years we've stayed in touch even though we've hardly ever lived in the same city since high school ... right now he's in Chicago.

If it wasn't for my friendship with him, I probably never would have met FH or 1 of my BMs. He is a GM in our wedding party.

His wedding is coming up soon, in September. They are having a small wedding party, so there wasn't room to ask me or the other girls he's friends with to be BMs. I was TOTALLY cool with that, just really happy for him. I don't buy into that whole thing that if you are a BM for someone it has to be reciprocated.

Well, last night he said he & FW decided to ask us girls to read the 7 Blessings (part of the Jewish ceremony).

I am feeling really honored to be a special part of their ceremony, it means so much to me!

that was very sweet and considerate of him. congrats on having such a great friend! i am sure it will mean so much to him to have you do that reading at his wedding.
