I feel so much better!
I have been stressing about this since my dress came in and I went to try it on back in November.
My dress is way too long on me (I am 5'5') and I was really, really concerned how they were going alter the dress (there is beading on the bottom) without losing the shape of the dress.
So, I went with my Mom today and met with seamstress. She showed us how she was going to alter the length, put the cups in, and the top was kinda big on me so it will be taken in too.
We decided we are going to go ahead and actually do the alterations.
I know it's way early, but I would rather have the dress ready early and then store it. Plus, they are in the slow season, so I feel the seamstress won't feel rushed.
I feel so much better and relieved. I go next week for the second fitting.
We are going to wait and do the bustle in September, but I only need 2 points.
