I've never gotten a bikini wax before and I just scheduled one. Do i wear regular underwear? a thong? What is standard procedure for this sort of thing...

honestly when I got mine I didn't wear any underwear!!! she was a degree short of being my gyno!!!

When I was younger and went, I wore regular underwear. But later on, I wore a thong. Now I get brazilians from time to time so I just have to take it completey off anyway so it doesn't matter.

Is it a plain bikini or is it brazillian? For bikini I used to wear a thong so they could get as much as possible around the outline, but I've been getting brazillian for about 6 years now and for those you don't wear anything.

Oh yea, i'd like to get some more info too. Any recommended places? How long does the hair have to be?? This is so embarassing, I am going to get one a day before the wedding........wish me luck hahahhaha!

I want to get one done but I feel funny. but maybe if I think of it as being at the GYNO it would make it easier.

I wouldn't get it the day before. You may have some irritation. At least 2 days before

I'm not from LI, but if you're in the city and this is your first brazillian....you can't go wrong with J. Sisters. They are the original (supposedly) in setting up shop for brazillian waxes here. That's where I went for my first, but they are on the expensive side so I found someone locally who I love and is muchhhh cheaper. Just in case here is their website. http://jsisters.com/
