I feeling SAD

I am at a stand still with my planning, My money flow is very LOW. I wish I had help, or a second job. I have so much things to do still in the process. I have no gifts for Bridal party, no DOJ for me or bridal party, no officiant, no favors, no menu, programs, or place cards. I am going to start more planning in the next year. I just need a two week break.

Maybe think about what you have to have and what you don't. You don't have to have favors, so that saves money. You don't have to be extravagant for the BP gifts. Programs are not a necessity, but these types of paper items can be DIY'd for a low cost if necessary. Take a break, catch your breath and regroup in the new year.

ITA especially since im doing the exact same thing!!

Please don't feel sad! The new year is only a couple of weeks away. Take this time to just enjoy it with your DH before the wedding planning picks up again. As for everything else set goals for each of them. The best thing I did was for the BP gifts I would buy things randomly instead of all at once. And some of the other things are DIY! A stand still is natural (mine was for about 8 months so I feel your pain).

I could even send you some desgins. I really dont mind at all--- i love doing these kinds of things!!! Let me know what you think!!!

Sorry you're feeling strapped for cash ... here are some ideas for you to save some money:

-- don't buy brand new DOJ for yourself - use something you already own, or borrow something from a friend or family member
-- for the officiant, you can get a friend / family member ordained and just have them marry you. this will save you money and will add a personal touch
-- for favors, do a donation .... since this means you can donate as much (or as little) as you want, it can help save money
-- don't do menus or programs
-- for place cards, just use the generic ones that the RH will provide for free

saving money will NOT mean your wedding day isn't amazing ... in fact, most of your guests wouldn't even notice, most likely!
