I finally broke up with...
that toxic bridesmaid I posted about last week. I have been trying to get in touch with her to tell her, but she never calls me back. So she called me today and acted like NOTHING happened last week. That p!ssed me off so bad, so I finally stuck up for myself.
I told her that I think it would be best for the friendship if she wasn't in the bridal party, then she got snippy with me, so I let her have it. She was like, 'Well, I tried to tell you a million different ways that I didn't want to be your bridesmaid, anyway.' I was like, ok, like HOW? So she said, 'You know, when I told you that I don't know how I'm going to get to Long Island yet.' So I said, 'That is NOT telling me you don't want to be in my bridal party, that is YOU making ME try to take care of YOU!' I told her that I'm sick of being the one who always travels to MA to see her when she's never once come here, I'm sick of having to 'take care of her' when we are together and that I'll be damned if I'm going to have someone think that I am here to serve them right before my wedding. I said it is not her place to expect ME, who's getting married, to make sure SHE, a 30 yr. old woman, is taken care of. It's not my job, nor will it ever be. So I told her I would pay for her dress and she no, it's fine, so I said, GREAT. Take care.
I know I should feel relieved, but I'm just sad that people s uck![]()
