I finally did something about work...

Ok so some of you may have read about how horrible my boss is to me and how I just hate being here. Well today I spoke to the person above her. Me and the guy above her are friendly and are always laughing and we have a good working relationship. So we were talking and he brought up how she is and stuff. She is the only manager who never works weekends and he gets frustrated with her work ethic.

ok so I brought up how she talks to me and makes me cry on occasion and how she treats me like I am a her assistant when I really am not. His response was that he was so shocked about this and he never knew and I should have said something sooner. He said her work frustrations should not be taken out on me. I guess they do not like the way she is running the department and it has been addressed with all the big shots here.

So I feel better that I said something. I also told him how I requested off the day after thanksgiving 3 weeks ago and then she asked her boss for herself and now I am stuck working. I said I didn’t want to say anything in fear that it would get back to her and for her to be even worse towards me. He assured me that it would not get back to her that they have the same issues with her!

Finally!! Someone who knows your frustration. If it is public knowledge to him about her ways, sooner or later something will be done to ractify the situation. I'm glad you had the opportunity to discuss your issues with him. Also, the issue was brought to light by your superior and that was the best time to do what you did.
