I finally found furniture I like. As a matter of fact I found 2. Which one would you get?

AVALON
This ones my favorite but I have some concerns.
I love it but theres no mens chest to go with it. It has stone on the top which is gorgeous in person. Do you think the headboard would get easily dirty? Do you think it would be easy to clean?

I prefer the look or Avalon so I picked it as my choice. I think if you don't put your head/hair on the headboard directly you will be fine. Use pillows.

Marseille is pretty too but it's a totally different style. More 'conservative'. Avalon is more contemporary. Clean/modern line.

I think it's a matter of preference.

I like the Avalon set. my taste now is contemporary furniture.

although, my bedroom furniture is currently a sleigh bed and I love that too.

I like the Marseilles..its classic and very regal looking. The avalon is pretty, but I think its one of those in a couple of years that might date itself, or you may get sick of it. The Marseilles is a timeless piece.

I like Marsailles, however, sleigh beds tend to be VERY long... about a foot longer than regular beds. As long as you have the room in your bedroom. I tend to like traditional furniture.

I do like the stone top of the other... will hide the dust more. That's the problem with dark furniture. 5 minutes after you dust you can usually see more dust.

I love both of them, but I think like someone else said above that the Avalon might date itself in a few years. How long do you plan on keeping this set? Is this your forever set? Or will you replace it in 5-10 years? Will it travel with you to new homes. What are the dimensions of the pieces and do you have space for all of them in your current home?

As for the fabric, they are usually treated, but if you dye your hair or wear a lot of product then that might bleed into the fabric. I would get a pillow to put on the headboard so that it would not absorb any persperation or other products. Also, would the light color go with your bed room?
I think the fabric one would be more comfortable, but I like the look of a sleigh bed.

personally, i prefer marsailles.

i would like Avalon the best if the headboard was straight and if the mirror was square

i have seen both in person

the avalon imo is way to big but if you have enough room then go for it.

however like the second one better.

I personally love sleigh beds so the Marseilles would be my choice BUT I think the Avalon bed is gorgeous. I think getting it dirty is an issue though - I'm just imagining a cute little boy with sticky hands getting Mommy's new bed very dirty! For us, we can't get an upholstered bed because our cats would have a field day pawing at it!

I like the Marseilles better, but I like the bed of the avalon better.

I saw this set in Levitz (Avalon) I liked it alot, but I wasn't liking the stone top to the dresser.
