I finally got my petal cones going...DIY crazy over here

i made my petal cones but i only finished one until i'm closer to the wedding day, so they won't get crushed...check them out

Thanks to Robswife....I used MS Word. I inserted a circle (using the drawing toolbar) and inside on the top center of the circle, I inserted a textbox and wrote our names and wedding date in a script font/ insert monogram as picture I printed it, cut out the circle, and shaped the circle into a cone and taped it/ hot glue...for decorations i added some fake hydranyeas and ribbon

sounds easy enough. did you buy specially shaped paper or did you cut that border for the cones?

nope i cut it out of regular white vellum paper

They look great! How big is the circle you drew? So that's plain vellum? It looks like white paper.

Did you use those crazy scissors to cut the edges?
